Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
